The Heart of Practice:
Practical tools for the mystical teacher, mystical insights for the practical teacher
Choose your path: Begin with the Yin Immersion in August 2025, or with the Vinyasa Immersion in January 2026
A Training with Soul and Scope
As teachers, we are always students. We always feel the quiet pull toward something deeper: more clarity, more connection, more meaning in the way we offer our teaching.
The Heart of Practice is a 300-hour Advanced Training for teachers ready to move beyond surface-level instruction—toward confident leadership that reflects your lived experience and values, so that the way you teach feels honest, informed, and true to the heart of yoga.
In this program, you’ll explore the full arc of yoga: deeper philosophy and meditation, subtle body awareness, applied anatomy, advanced sequencing, cueing, and inclusive teaching. Your 300-hour Teaching Certification will also include a 65-hour Yin Yoga Teaching Certification. Every part of the curriculum is designed to support your voice, your insight, and your ability to teach others with depth and care. Study the full wisdom of yoga while redefining what it means to be a teacher in the modern world.
You’ll be guided by a faculty of deeply experienced and respected teachers, including Suzanna Spring (E-RYT500, YACEP, Dragonfly Yoga Studio Owner), Laurie Johnson Gallagher (E-RYT500, author of the books Asana and Mindful Sequencing, YACEP), Samantha Okumura (E-RYT500, YACEP), Winter Brown (E-RYT800, PRYT, YACEP), and acclaimed guest instructors.
